At Home Deals Direct, we are committed to offering quality products and excellent customer support. We fully comply with UK consumer laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Your Right to Cancel (UK Customers)
You have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 calendar days of receiving your goods. This is your “cooling-off” period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
- To cancel, contact us via our Contact page within 14 days of delivery.
- You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.
- We will issue a full refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.
- You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Order Modifications & Pre-Dispatch Cancellations
If you'd like to cancel or modify your order before dispatch, please contact us within 12 hours of placing your order. After this period, your order may already be processing and cannot be changed.
If your order has already been shipped, you can still return it following the process below.
Returns (30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee)
We offer a 30-day return period as a goodwill gesture for items that are unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Please note this is in addition to your statutory rights.
- You must contact us and receive approval before sending your return.
- Include your order number and full name in the return package.
Items we cannot accept for return under this policy:
- Used or worn products
- Items damaged due to misuse or negligence
- Unauthorised returns or returns made after 30 days from delivery
Restocking fees of up to 25% may apply for unauthorised or late returns. Any applicable fees will be communicated before return approval.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Damaged packaging alone does not qualify unless the product itself is affected.
- Send a clear photo of the damage along with your order number.
- If approved, we will offer a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to reject faulty goods within 30 days for a full refund.
We do not issue refunds for damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, or failure to follow usage instructions.
How to Start a Return
- Contact us via our Contact page within 30 days of delivery.
- Provide your order number, reason for return, and any relevant images if applicable.
- Wait for return approval and shipping instructions.
- Ship the item back securely, including your order details in the parcel.
Note: Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refunds
- We will inspect your return within 10 business days of receipt.
- If approved, refunds are processed within 14 days to your original payment method.
- Refunds are issued in British Pounds (£GBP).
- We are not responsible for any bank or payment provider fees, including foreign exchange charges.
Product Use & Safety
Please follow all instructions and safety guidance when using our products. Misuse may result in injury or damage, and refunds in such cases are at our discretion. If you experience discomfort or concern while using a product, stop use immediately and contact us.
Shipping & Delivery Disclaimer
We strive for prompt delivery but cannot be held responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs, or other third-party factors beyond our control.
We are not liable for:
- Lost or stolen parcels once dispatched
- Delivery delays outside our control
